Donations

“History is not the past, but a map of the past drawn from a particular point of view to be useful to the modern traveler.”
(Henry Glassie)

By making a donation to Triquetra Services (Scotland), our organisation will be able to present these maps of the past to a wider audience of modern travellers.

We will be able to add to the Triquetra Collection of antiques, and make information about these items more easily available to anyone with an interest in the subject. We can also offer tax relief in the form of a GiftAid declaration to accompany your donation.

We can receive donations through payPal, meaning that you can make a donation with your preferred credit or debit card; you don’t need a PayPal account yourself.

A £5 donation could pay for some new cleaning and maintenance materials for looking after our Collection.

A £10 donation could pay for some cleaning and maintenance materials, and also some of our monthly website hosting fees.

A £15 donation could help keep our website online for several months.

A £20 donation could let us print some leaflets to let local schools and museums know that we exist and could run some educational activities for or with them.

A £25 donation could let us put some money towards a new purchase for the Collection, or some banners and other materials to let us showcase the Collection in a better and more helpful fashion.

A £50 donation, perhaps by a club or school, would be an incredible help towards the development of the Collection and the way we can showcase it during educational activities.

Over the past few years, our charitable organisation has been building a collection of antique arms, HEMA treatises and contextual history books to further our educational mission. By safeguarding these important cultural artefacts, the Triquetra Collection allows us to teach people about history in a hands-on fashion, not only learning about the items in question, but learning several valuable and transferable skills for everyday life in work and in play.
