When our charity first took legal form on the 11th February 2011, Triquetra Services (Scotland) was a charitable company limited by guarantee, with company number SC392806 and the charity number SC042086.
As of the 16th of March 2018, the charity has been converted into a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Association, also known as a SCIO. We will retain the charity number SC042086, although we will no longer have a company number as we are no longer a company.
What does this mean? Well, it will save us slightly over £1000 per year in accounting and other administration fees. We will no longer be bleeding large sums of money simply to stay operational, and we can put more of our funds towards maintaining and adding to the Triquetra Collection!
